What a lovely piece this is. Maud's depiction of something that would make her happy could be considered funny. But her sincerity would say otherwise. I mean, that's a pretty cool dream.

For two reasons.

1. She can fly.

2.She can fly with her best friend.

Here we have the father of the Pie family himself, Igneous Rock Pie.

He looks like the kind of pony with a good work ethic, great family values and a solid attitude.

There are a few things one could observe in his relations to his family, Maud especially. Perhaps she took on a bit of his flatness in speech delivery. Or perhaps the desire to dress in some sort of style. Heck, it could be something as simple as loving rocks.

I can only imagine the insight Iggy would have to offer :)

Such a beautiful piece of scenery, honestly. Whoever painted this, I commend you. It takes some goddamn experience and talent to pull off a masterpiece like this. The way the water crashed against the rocks, the breeze in Maud's luscious hair... I love it!

And it's alright if you're not supportive of anything LGBTQ+; this is just a flag to commemorate that people who don't express sexual interest are people too.

Top of the morning to ya!

So here's some food for thought. Have you ever noticed how in pieces where Maud's cutie mark is showing, there seems to be some variation on what it is? Seriously, it's kind of bizarre. Some, (myself included) believe it is this. However, some show it as a smaller version of what appears to be Tom.
I'd like to think it is what's pictured above. Not only because it is on the merchandise, but because it is original.
Trust me, I like Tom as much as the next brainwashed Rarity...but he won't ever come close to Maud's awesomeness.
