Clouds, the art of the sky.

As Maud glances over the beautiful sky, she feels a great peace. Letting her mind free itself from any tension or grievances. It's a gorgeous day, meant for enjoyment. Perhaps to settle in the grass with Boulder and let the white fluffy clouds distract them a while. Sounds so nice.

All the Pie sisters are so cute. And attractive.

I love how they're drawn in this image too. Fluffy ears, almost like bats, nice blend of round and sharp lines, and, well, Maud! Never thought four sisters on their phones leaning against one another would look both badass and adorable at the same time. :3

Maud and Rarity again. This is such a beautiful image.

I've always loved the concept of dichotomy. When I look at this image... hm. I suppose the dichotomy between Maud and Rarity, firstly is represented by red versus blue, which is pretty clear... but I also see the contrast between Maud's rough, hill-like boulder structure versus Rarity's crystalline, mountainous, almost something like a castle.

Alright, I see it now. Strength versus beauty. That's really clever, I like it! I can definitely see the contrast via just what the show offers to us as well about their relationship.

Those photo booths at dances are pretty neat. Bet Pinkie convinced (totally pushed) Maud into one and snapped this totally adorable picture. And by that action, solidified a great memory. Gotta love the little details in this one. Like a rock necklace for Pinkie and Maud's scarf (dish towel).

Morning folks!

The season 5 finale was killer. You gotta love 'what if' situations in a universe as expansive as the MLP one. Each scenario painted a very different Equestria than the happy one we know.

This art style reminds me a lot of Dragon Ball Z. The B.A. warrior vibe with spiky hair. It's all pretty sweet.

Pinkie is such a squishy pone pone and a cute wittuw sister~

I love the dynamic between Maud and Pinkie, honestly. They have a really good chemistry and it works through their sisterhood. The contrast between Pinkie's sugary, bubbly personality and Maud's stoic, reserved demeanor is clearly evident, yet they contrast each other in a way that brings them even closer together. You know what I mean?

Anyways, it's nighttime, and tomorrow's Monday! That means (hopefully) a new Maud Monday and, for some people, getting back to something, even if it is July. So how are you all doing in the meantime? Plans for the week? Month? Rest of the year? Share below!

Happy Sunday everyone! What are your plans for the week? Anything fun?

I get tomorrow and Tuesday off from ACT Prep, so that's fun. I think I'll catch up on my summer reading. I have three books I'm required read; the all-school read is a new book called The Red Bandanna by Tom Rinaldi about heroism during 9/11. Then for my AP Literature class, I get to read 1984 by George Orwell and Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I'm really excited because I've been meaning to read 1984 for a while now. I bet it's gonna be a really invigorating novel. ^~^
